On 28 April each year, countries around the world pause to commemorate workers who have died as a result of a workplace incident or occupational disease. As an insurance and care provider, we place great importance on participating in this significant day.

We’re all about creating and promoting a workplace culture focused on safety and injury prevention. Work-related deaths are the greatest tragedy of all, and while we mourn the loss of our loved ones every day, we do so even more on 28 April. International day of mourning gives us time to reflect on the devastating impact workplace death has on families, workmates, neighbors and the wider community.

Let’s keep working together to reduce the number of deaths and significant injuries in our workplaces. Nothing is more important.
