Information about a range of flexible options to help workers find suitable work.

The following programs and providers help injured workers return to work.

  • jobcover placement program

    Employers are given financial incentives to employ injured workers.

  • SIRA training program

    Funding is available to help injured workers develop new skills and/or obtain qualifications, so they can remain at work with their pre-injury employer or commence work with a new employer.

  • equipment and workplace modification

    The cost of workplace equipment or modifications can be covered if it will help an injured worker remain at work with their pre-injury employer or commence work with a new employer.

  • transition to work program

    Funding can be provided to remove immediate or short-term barriers that are preventing an injured worker from starting work with a new employer.

  • work trials

    Work trials involving placing injured workers with host employers so they can gain some alternative work experience.

  • workplace rehabilitation providers

    Workplace rehabilitation providers offer specialised services to help workers recover at or return to work following a work-related injury.
