If there is an injury, illness or death in your workplace there are some things you must do to meet your obligation as an employer.
- provide first aid and make sure your worker gets the right care in a timely manner
- notify your insurer of any injury or illness within 48 hours
- record it in your register of injuries
- help your worker to recover at work.
